Our Approach
We assist in providing the necessary logistics to credible organizations and community groups who are providing long-lasting education, gender equality, and health care reform for youth. Our goal isn't just to get students in school and keep them there, but also make sure they're provided with the necessary resources, mentorship, and access needs to reach their full potential.
Current Initiative
AIE is currently fundraising for the launch of its Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oakland and its Afterschool program initiative in Liberia. AIE Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oakland is to help high school student of refugee background achieve their full potential by participating in innovative, effective programs that facilitate lasting mentor relationships and support positive youth development. The Afterschool program initiative in Liberia intends to nurture and instill discipline, confidence, emotional intelligence and sense of responsibility in our youths. Furthermore, AIE's Afterschool program will be in collaboration with a local junior high school called (Mother's Pride Academy). Our initiative would focus on academic activity that would instill Leadership Skills, Values, Attitudes, and Collective Consciousness of a better future.
The past two initiatives and collaborations AIE conducted with local nonprofits and groups in Liberia have shown remarkable results in beneficiaries as they have excelled academically and developed strong leadership skills. AIE believes in raising role models as change champions in leadership. In view of the above, AIE intends to broaden the scope of work to make more impact on a wider range of young individuals.
